Visit Jydsk Racecourse and get to know the sport of racing and a colossally exciting world of horse racing such as trotting and galloping. Jydsk Væddeløpsbane is situated like a scenic oasis close to the city centre, and is a daily breather for many people who come to see the horses being trained.

Racing and panoramic views

Jydsk Væddeløpsbane is only a 20-minute walk from Aarhus C and is close by Tivoli Freedom, Marselisborg Castle og The memorial park. Jydsk Racecourse invites you to an experience with delicious food, equestrian sports, games and excitement in cozy surroundings with modern facilities.

Bring the family, employees or staff association along. You will be thoroughly introduced to the sport of horse racing with the possibility of a tour of stables, stable tips and games on horses.

Trotting, Monté & canter

You can experience up to 35 race days a year, where you can both follow the horses and participate in one of the many audience competitions.

Of course, children are also welcome, and while the parents follow the horse races, there are both indoor and outdoor playgrounds, pony riding (on big race days), and a home cinema.

On race days

If you want the full experience, eat in the course's panoramic restaurant, or try the stable cafeteria "Tutten". If you are into the simple and quick dish, you can also eat at the grill bar.

During the year, there are various activities at Jydsk Væddeløbsbane. Many of the race days have an associated activity, while others are outside the race days, so you can quickly spend many fun hours.
