Aarhus University is architecturally interesting with the way it coincides in its surroundings, both in the university park and the Nobel Park.

Aarhus University was designed by the architect CF Møller, who was responsible for the construction back in 1933. The university is known for its interesting architecture and fine coincidence with the lines of the surrounding park area and was completed in 1946. Aarhus University offers unique and different opportunities for research and educate yourself across the many different subjects - for the benefit of both students, researchers, authorities and business.

One of the reasons it took so many years from the start of construction until it was completed was due to World War II. In 2, the Germans seized the park dormitories, which became such a major threat to the Jutland resistance movement that it was decided to annihilate it. The main building was severely damaged at the same time as 1943 construction workers perished. The architect CF Møller was buried alive in rubble during the attack but survived.
