Turku Forest is an area with a fantastic view of forest and lake and invites you to a good walk. In the hilly terrain, you can enjoy the view of older and newly planted forests and beautiful lakes as far as the eye can see, which appear as a true paradise for nature lovers.

Pack your sleeping bag and hop on the bike

Åbo Skov is one of the newer forest areas in Aarhus. The area was established from 2010 to 2014 and offers over 5km. hiking trails, large and small lakes and a drinking water course. At Åbo Skov, you must remember the sleeping bag and the sleeping pad. There are three new and beautiful shelters that invite to campfire food and cozy moments under almost open sky.

If you have the courage for more, you can use a smart path system to get to Årslev Engsø which connects you to Brabrand lake and Aarhus Ås beautiful areas.
